As part of the partnership, the companies will collaborate to build a 100kWh solar carport at its facility in Plainville, Connecticut.
The solar carport can generate enough energy to offset the power needed to charge up to 13 electric vehicles per day, using the six installed Level 2 GE DuraStation EV charging stations, as well as all the overhead lighting in the parking lot.
Inovateus will include GE EverGold Solar combiner boxes, GE DuraStation and WattStation electric vehicle charging stations and traditional GE electrical distribution panels and switches as part of its solar offerings.
