The wind turbines to be delivered for the power project feature an 82.5m rotor for class III wind conditions.
Cong Ly has also planned for a second phase of the wind energy project, which will add up tp 120MW of capacity.
The power project, located about 200 kms southwest of the Ho Chi Minh City, is said to be the first large-scale industrial/energy project in the Bac Lieu province.
Cong Ly chairman To Hoai Dan said the project will help to improve the social and economic conditions of the province by creating new jobs requiring technical and industrial skills, while producing much-needed power.
