The two natural gas-fired facilities, each with 829MW capacity, are located in Bradford and Lycoming County, Pennsylvania are developed for Panda Power Funds.

Expected to generate clean, reliable electric power to more than two million homes, the two projects are designed to capitalize on the Marcellus Shale natural gas formation in Pennsylvania.

A joint venture of Gemma Power Systems and Lane Construction is the engineering-procurement-construction contractor for the two projects.

Gemma is also responsible for the construction of ancillary systems and buildings as well as the electrical interconnection facilities and tie-ins for natural gas, water and wastewater for the two projects.

GPS CEO William Griffin said: "We also congratulate Panda Power Funds on adding two clean, highly efficient power projects to their growing portfolio.

"We appreciate the opportunity Panda gave us to again demonstrate our capabilities as we answer the challenge of building complex energy projects."
