Covering more than 200 acres, the solar generation facilities are planned to be commissioned by the end of 2016.
Georgia Power marketing senior vice-president Kenny Coleman said: "These solar projects support the Army and their mission to not only strengthen local Georgia bases as economic and community engines, but also their efforts to further the development of renewable energy and enhance national security."
The three renewable projects, are being developed as part of the company’s 2007 Integrated Resource Plan.
Last week, Georgia Power has started work on the solar plant expansion in Dalton, Georgia, US.
Power generated from this facility will be sold to Dalton Utilities under a 25-year wholesale power purchase agreement.
