The SHHN000A3CL unit features an input voltage range of 9-36 volts DC, space-efficient low-profile footprint and built-in current, voltage and temperature protection.
The company said the unit includes a bipolar dual output, precisely regulated output voltage at 15 volts DC and -15 volts DC, 9 watts output power and a 0.3-amp output current.
The SHHN000A3CL can be used as a traditional DC/DC module in insulated-gate bipolar transistors and other semiconductor device drive circuits as well as in hybrid power architectures and industrial markets.
Users can have sourcing consistency with a single product that can fit into several sockets.
Other features of the converters include remote on/off, remote sense and output voltage adjustment with options for negative or positive on/off logic and surface-mount connections.
The company said the outputs of the SHHN000A3CL are fully isolated from the input, enabling versatile polarity configurations and grounding connections.
The requirement for external filtering components will be minimized and the overall solution footprint will see a reduction with the unit’s built-in filtering for both input and output configurations.
