The free-standing FlexPay outdoor payment terminal (OPT) packages Gilbarco’s Payment Card Industry (PCI) and EuroPay MasterCard Visa (EMV) compliant FlexPay terminal as an Island Card Reader that can be positioned next to the pump and support single or multiple fuel dispensers.
The FlexPay product line has EMV Level-1 and Level-2 certification, Interac Association Device Certification for outdoor payment solutions, and PCI Encrypting PIN Entry Device approvals.
Scott McDowell, marketing manager for North American payment products at Gilbarco Veeder-Root, said: Gilbarco’s FlexPay OPT is a great value for retailers who want to add PCI and EMV compliant payment to their fuel islands where there is currently no pay-at-the-pump or where it is not feasible to add a compliant Crind to each dispenser.
