As per the agreed terms, the Chinese firms including GD Solar, NARI Technology Development, Guodian Inner Mongolia New Energy Investment, Poly Solar Technologies and Forty-eighth Research Institute of China Electronics Technology will construct solar power projects in China.

GD Solar will provide engineering, procurement and construction services for the solar power projects and will own 100% equity in the projects. However, Goldpoly will acquire the projects from GD Solar after they are connected to grids and have passed inspections.

Commenting on the deal, GD Solar general manager XU Zhong said that the company has been committed to the development and application of new energy since its setup.
