As part of the deal, Goldpoly will own around 400MW, of which 200MW have been connected to the grid with an on-grid electricity price of RMB1 per kWh ($0.165kWh).

Goldpoly New Energy Holdings chairman and CEO Alan LI said the members of Photovoltaic Green Ecosystem Organization (PGO)will once again cooperate with each other on solar power plants projects.

"We are fully confident of the long-term stable operation of power plants due to GD Solar’s successful experience in solar power plant construction and its excellent team execution," LI added.

Goldpoly, which is a solar power plant investor and operator in China, had completed the acquisition of China Merchants New Energy Holdings in June 2013.
