Google has invested around $75m in white label financing solution, managed by Clean Power Finance.
Approximately 3,000 homeowners will be benefited with the Clean Power Finance-Google fund to go solar in a number of key markets.
Google Green business operations director Rick Needham said Clean Power Finance has built a platform that connects solar manufacturers, investors like the company, and solar installers who offer its financing directly to homeowners.
"It is a powerful combination that will reduce costs and facilitate the expansion of distributed solar in the US," Needham said.
SunLogic, California Solar Systems and American Vision Solar are among the many solar installers currently branding and offering homeowners Clean Power Finance’s financing solution.
