Green Mountain and Fort Worth Zoo have commenced operations on a $140,000 solar array for the Fort Worth Zoo.
Green Mountain funded the Fort Worth Zoo’s 47.5kW solar power system, through its Sun Club program.
Sun Club, a program in which the company’s Texas customers can choose to support solar energy development and education in Texas by contributing an additional $5 on their monthly electricity bill.
Green Mountain claimed with this array, s Sun Club has installed almost 400kW of new solar energy.
