Simon Higgs started his career with the U.K.’s Royal Mail, holding several senior management positions. In 1996, Higgs joined Marken Ltd., where he served in a number of executive posts including vice president of US operations, UK managing director, Asia/Pacific regional director and the number two position in the company, global director. During his 10-year tenure with Marken, the company became the market leader in specialist, pharmaceutical transportation. Higgs left Marken in 2006 to pursue other investment and consultancy interests. Currently he resides in Connecticut, where Green Earth Technologies is headquartered.
