GreenerHome has tailored services to Virginia residents seeking to take advantage of the second round of the Virginia Energy Efficiency Rebate Program.
The company said that homeowners in Virginia who have reserved a rebate will receive a home energy audit covered 100% by the program, a personalized ‘Blueprint for Energy Savings’ with applicable details on the VA program, and a solution for efficiency upgrades such as air sealing and insulation.
The second round of the Virginia Energy Efficiency Rebate Program, funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), has approximately $6.5m available for rebates on a range of efficiency improvements.
Home energy audits are eligible for up to a $250 rebate – which fully refunds the price of a GreenerHome energy audit – and homeowners are eligible for rebates of 20% of the costs of qualifying energy efficiency products and services (up to $2,000), including insulation and air sealing.
