The project, which is built for Enel Green Power Panama, is located nine miles from the city of Chitre in Herrera Province.

The 2.4MW solar PV plant, which is expected to provide around 30% of the surrounding area’s electricity demand, equivalent to 2,600 homes, has been interconnected to the La Empresa de Generacion Electricita (EGESA) grid network.

As part of the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC)) contract, Greenwood Biosar has involved in providing all services and equipment for plant construction including engineering, civil works, and construction management and PV module installation, along with procurement, delivery, and installation of all inverters.

In addition, the company has provided pad mount transformers, MV switchgear, racking, metering devices, and monitoring and control systems for the project.
