In his capacity as COO, Mr Yeaman will be responsible for overseeing the Oahu utility’s day-to-day operations, energy solutions, public affairs and financial/administrative process areas. Mr May will continue overall leadership responsibility for the entire utility organization, including subsidiary, Hawaii Electric Light Company.
Curtis Harada, currently controller of Hawaiian Electric Industries (HEI), will replace Mr Yeaman as acting financial vice president, treasurer and CFO of HEI.
Hawaiian Electric Company (HECO) has also named Robert Alm as executive vice president of public affairs. Mr Alm previously held the position of senior vice president of public affairs.
Tayne Sekimura, currently financial vice president of HECO, will be promoted to senior vice president of finance and administration. In her new role, Ms Sekimura will oversee HECO’s financial, human resources, legal and corporate administration areas.
