The DGP is situated 25km-130km east of AngloGold-Ashanti’s (AGA) Navachab gold mine.
The company has described various high-priority targets at DGP through the latest geophysical surveys.
Helio has completed the first diamond drilling on the Wilhelmstal license, which is instantly south of Otjimbojo License and the results are awaited.
During late 1980s and early 2000s, AGA has drilled Gold Kop target in many places, which is a 4km-long gold, arsenic, copper soil anomaly.
Earlier, the target has returned 71g/t gold over 1m, 8.6g/t gold over 4m, 5.6g/t gold over 7m.
AGA drill holes have confirmed considerable drill intercepts over a 2.2km strike of changed marble.
