The construction began in June 2010 that is likely to be in service in the first half of 2011. The pipeline will be in line to ETP’s dual 42″ pipeline system near Carthage, Texas, extending via the core of the Haynesville Shale and end near Delhi, Louisiana, with interconnects to at least seven interstate pipelines at various points in Louisiana.

The company said that the pipeline will have an initial capacity of two billion cubic feet per day, which may be increased to up to 2.4 billion cubic feet. Once in service, it will serve the Northeast, Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest markets.
