The water handling system consisted of turning on a new pipeline and installing a pump transfer station to move water from the Wild Horse drainage to the Hank Williams drainage.

With the use of the system, the company was able to maintain production in these fields amounting to about 75,000 million cubic feet during the months of July and August of 2011.

High Plains Gas COO Mark Hettinger said the water system was designed and implemented to mitigate the downstream irrigation issues typically faced by the Wild Horse field in July and August.

"We believe the implementation of the water handling system enabled us to realize nearly $275,000 in revenue," Hettinger said.
