Hitachi T&D Systems Saudi Arabia aims to construct a new manufacturing plant for gas-insulated switchgear in Jeddah, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The company will also oversee operations for gas-insulated switchgear from design and manufacture, through to assembly, installation and sales, as well as manage the entire process at substations from design through to procurement, construction, maintenance, and other related operations.
The highly reliable products and services of HTDSA is expected to positively contribute to Saudi Arabia society, the company said.
High demand is expected in Saudi Arabia for indispensable gas insulated switchgear in the power transmission and distribution infrastructure.
Hitachi aims to expand its transmission and distribution business in the global market and will use its global production and engineering bases to address the needs of power transmission and distribution infrastructure to customers by providing entire power-grid system solutions.
