The company will supply 40 turbines, each with a 2MW capacity, as per an order secured from the Aoyama-Kogen Wind Farm.
The facility currently has an installed capacity of 15MW.
Eighteen of the proposed 40 turbines will be operational by March 2016 with the remaining expected to be connected to the grid by March 2017.
Chubu Electric currently owns a 95.8% Aoyama-Kogen through its clean energy and telecommunications arm C-Tech Corp.
