The Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) System developed by UOP will recover and purify Hydrogen from a steam reforming unit that will be installed at the refinery.

Honeywell UOP’s VP and GM of gas processing and hydrogen Rebecca Liebert said, "UOP’s hydrogen purification technology will allow the Antipinksy Refinery to meet today’s challenge of producing cleaner fuels more efficiently."

Scheduled to start in 2013, the refinery intends to expand its crude oil processing capacity by 7 million tons.

Fuels produced at the refinery are expected to be compliant with EURO-5 emission standards that seek to bring down emissions in lighter vehicles.
