The facility, to be owned and operated by Terasen Gas Vancouver Island, will be designed to provide additional seasonal peaking capacity for the benefit of natural gas customers on Vancouver Island and the mainland of British Columbia.
CB&I’s work scope includes the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of a 434,000-barrel liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage tank, the liquefaction and regasification systems, and all related plant structures and systems.
