The Spanish utility inspected the very high-, high- and medium-voltage lines used to supply peak summer and winter electricity demand.
Iberdrola carried out routine inspections of 27,500km of power lines and rapid inspections of 15,500km.
The company also conducted a thorough inspection of 24,000km and an infrared analysis of 14,000km of its power lines.
Iberdrola said the inspection campaign forms part of its endeavours to improve its electricity installations as a means of enhancing the quality and security supply.
