The firm has installed 32 new substations, increased the capacity of another 51 facilities and constructed almost 3,000km of high, medium and low voltage lines.
It also includes commissioning of about 1,900 transformer centers.
The company with these new installations and upgrade of some existing facilities has added about 3,300 megavolt amperes to the system, thereby increasing its installed capacity by 5.2%
Of the total investment 38% was allocated to the construction of substations; 39% for power lines; 6% to install new transformer centres; 7% for automating new grid infrastructure and the remaining 9% corresponded to investment in auxiliary resources, general services and metering.
