This production was achieved due to the group’s international expansion and also due to a greater investment in clean generation technologies, in line with its current strategy.
For the first time in the group’s history, power plants located abroad have contributed more than 50% of all the energy produced in a half-yearly period.
International electricity generation during the first six months of 2008 has increased to 35,685 million kWh or 51.6% of the total generation.
