As part of the contract, ICF will lend support to EPA’s Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards (OAQPS) with a focus on its Health and Environmental Impacts Division.

The contract will have a one year base term with four years of option available.

The consulting and technology solutions company will handle various tasks including identification of pollutant sources and emissions as well as support workshops on air pollutants.

According to ICF International vice president Mark Lee the company and EPA have been collaborating on developing risk assessment methods for OAQPS and conducting technical evaluations of air pollutants for the last 15 years.

"This award reaffirms our position as a leader in providing EPA with technical risk assessment support for the Agency’s air toxics and criteria air pollutant programs," Lee added further.
