The two countries have also agreed to improve the free trade agreement between the two countries, also known as the comprehensive economic partnership agreement.
Seoul’s state-run Korea Electric Power Corp has been trying to gain approval to collaborate with India’s state-owned Nuclear Power Corporation of India to build power plants.
India currently has 20 power-generating nuclear reactors in operation, six under construction and intends to construct another 40 by 2032.
