As per the order, Inox will supply 50 units of its 2MW turbines with 120m hub height and with a rotor diameter of 113m. The order was won under the round 1 of SECI bids for wind power projects connected to the central grid.
The project is expected to start in the next six to nine months of time and will be executed on a turnkey basis, stated Inox. The company claims that the turbines that it will be supplying for the wind farm will have a 113m rotor diameter.
As part of the order, Inox will be responsible for the development, construction and commissioning of the wind farm and will also provide long term operations and maintenances services.
