The contract was awarded by a minerals and lignite mining company Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation.

Inox Wind will supply and install 25 units of its advanced 2MW DFIG 100 rotor dia Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) which will maximize returns even in low wind areas.

The project will be a part of the 400MW Inox Wind Park at Rojmal.

Inox will also offer wind resource assessment, erection and commissioning services as well as providing long term operations and maintenance services to GMDC.

It will also build the power evacuation system, acquire land, develop the entire site infrastructure, supply the WTGs.

Around 190 WTGs were sold by the company in the nine months ended December 2014, compared with 60 in the year ended March 2012.

Earlier in April, Inox Wind made a strong debut on the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Inox Group raised INR7bn ($112m) in the recent IPO, besides an offer for sale worth INR3.2bn ($51m) from the promoter.
