Off-loading from the 154,800m3 vessel Tangguh Foja will be complete by 28 August 2013.
The cargo was sourced from Indonesia’s Tangguh project in accordance with the LNG sales and purchase agreement signed between Inpex and Chubu Electric on 31 July 2013.
The terminal is set to enter commercial operations in January 2014.
It will allow Inpex to set up a global gas supply chain, where the company stably supplies the domestic gas market with the overseas sourced gas it develops and produces in addition to the gas produced in the Minami-Nagaoka field.
