The project will involve the installation of either Insituform Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) or iPlus Composite on 4-inch to 84-inch diameter circular and box shape pipelines constructed of clay, concrete or brick.

According to the Istituform, iPlus Composite, the company’s fiber-reinforced CIPP product, is designed to provide both strength and stability to medium- to large-diameter pipelines.

Insituform CIPP, a jointless pipe-within-a-pipe structure suitable for rehabilitating wastewater pipelines with diameter ranging from 6 to 96 inches, is claimed to reduce infiltration, restore structural integrity and increase flow capacity of the pipelines.

Daniel Cowan, vice president of Insituform, Asia-Pacific, said: “By securing these contracts, Insituform continues to maintain its market share and solidifies its presence in Asia. These contracts strengthen Insituform’s East Asian platform as we continue to expand our operations into other markets throughout the greater China region.”
