Interservice Uzunovi unit’s installation of Solyndra solar power project in Sevlievo, consists of approximately 6,000 Solyndra panels, which will produce over 30,000MWh of electricity.
The installation of solar panels will reduce CO2 emissions by nearly 140,000 tons over the next 25 years, which is equivalent of powering 500 households, according to the EPA carbon calculator.
The solar installation is planned to be connected to the grid by mid-2011.
Solyndra is a manufacturer of cylindrical photovoltaic systems for large commercial rooftops.
