Located near the city of Hays, approximately 200 milesnorthwest of the city of Wichita, the facility features GE 1.79MW wind turbines.
Details of the financing, which was facilitated by Morgan Stanley Senior Funding, and its affiliates, remain undisclosed.
Due to be commissioned in the fourth quarter of this year, the Buckeye project is expected to create approximately 250 jobs during construction phase and 12 permanent jobs upon completion.

Lincoln Electric System has signed a long-term power purchase agreement to acquire a significant portion of the project output.
Blattner Energy is serving as civil and mechanical contractor for the project. Henkels & McCoy, EPC Services, and Par Electrical will be responsible for the electrical collection, substation, and transmission line, respectively.
