The 300,000-barrels-per-day (bpd) Paradip refinery’s full 15 million tons unit will be commissioned in few months.
Press Trust of India cited IOC refineries director Sanjiv Singh as saying to reporters that: "We are looking at commissioning of various units in stages beginning December."
The Paradip refinery was originally scheduled for commissioning in 2012 but was delayed several times due to some factors.
Singh told Reuters that: "Crude has arrived at the refinery and crude storage tank commissioning is underway."
"Refinery commissioning is a long and tedious process and it will be done in stages."
