The 200MW unit is the second hydro-unit to be restored at Irganayskaya, with unit no 1 having been placed back in operation last month.
Irganayskaya is located on the Avarskoye Koysu river in the Untsukulsky district of the Republic of Dagestan. Construction of the plant began in 1977, and the first hydraulic unit was put into operation in 1998.
