Kenya Energy Ministry agency Ketraco awarded the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning contract to Isolux Corsán.

Under the contract, the company will construct 428km of 400kV transmission lines that will supply electricity generated from the future 300MW wind farm near the Lake Turkana in the Kenyan Rift Valley.

In Angola, Isolux Corsán executed projects to supply energy to industry and the population, including a floating 100MW power plant in Luanda and the Futila Thermal Power Plant.

The company also built the first 400kV transmission line that carries the electricity produced by the Capanda Dam to the capital Luanda.
