Isolux will construct a 428km long transmission line connecting the national grid, for the Kenya Electricity Transmission Co.
The power line will transport the power generated from the 310MW power plant being developed by Lake Turkana Wind Power.
Various financial institutions led by the African Development Bank will support the construction of the wind power plant estimated to cost about EUR617m ($893m).
Construction of the power line is scheduled to begin this year and is expected to become operational by the end of 2013.
