Japanese nuclear industry officials are to launch an inquiry into British exports of nuclear fuel after British Nuclear Fuels admitted that some of its records had been falsified.
The British Nuclear Installation Inspectorate is investigating the manufacture of mixed plutonium-uranium oxide fuel (MOX) at BNFL’s Sellafield plant in the UK.
