Electric rates for residential customers of the company will be reduced by $114m per year beginning 1 March 2012.
The reduction is part of a stipulated settlement with the BPU Staff and the Division of Rate Counsel.
JCP&L said the decrease will total about 3% or $41.22 a year for an average residential customer using 650kWh of electricity a month.
