The agreement between these companies was originally entered into in 2005 when JDSU and Polatis first began offering the Series 1000 all-optical solutions for automating test and measurement processes.
The Series 2000 all-optical matrix switches will be demonstrated at OFC/NFOEC in JDSU Booth #2015 and Polatis Booth #813.

The Polatis Series 2000 is a high-performance, strictly non-blocking all-optical matrix switch with up to 80×80 ports. In a compact form factor, the Series 2000 provides transparent, bidirectional connectivity on dark or lit fiber with excellent repeatability and with typical insertion loss of under 1dB.
Polatis is a US-based developer and manufacturer of lowest loss optical switching products.
JDSU is a US-based provider of communications test and measurement solutions and optical products for telecommunications service providers, cable operators, and network equipment manufacturers.
