Mr Churchman’s responsibilities will include oversight of the company’s Iatan Construction Project, which involves constructing a new coal-fired power plant located near Weston, Missouri, as well as adding environmental retrofits to the existing power plant at Iatan, Missouri.
Mr Churchman has broad experience working on projects within the utility industry. He comes to Kansas City Power & Light (KCP&L) from Bechtel Power in Spring City, where he was construction completion director at the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant Unit 2.
