The EPC contract, valued at $15bn, was signed with the Ichthys LNG project owners, INPEX and Total.
INPEX is the operator of the Ichthys LNG project with a 76% interest, while Total holds the remaining 24% stake.
The Ichthys project is expected to produce 8.4 million tonnes of LNG and 1.6 million tonnes of LPG per annum, along with about 100,000 barrels of condensate per day at peak.
