The company said that the results confirm the continuity and extent of graphite mineralization at surface, and mineralization that remains open in all directions.
Significant results from the assays include 18m at 9.7% total graphite carbon (TGC) from surface, 32m at 9.3% TGC from surface, including 16m at 10.3% TGC; 16m at 10.3% TGC from surface; 56m at 8.8% TGC from surface, including 25m at 10% TGC; and 78m at 8% TGC from surface, including 42m at 10.2% TGC.
The assay results will be used to upgrade near surface portion of the existing JORC resources of 14.9 million tons at 10.5% TGC to the indicated and measured categories.
Results for the remaining drill holes are expected in the coming months.
Work on the resource upgrade has already commenced and is expected to be completed in mid-July.
