The result was obtained from one of the nine trenches in the Western Zone of the mine. These trenches have confirmed the presence of shallow high-grade graphite mineralization over a strike length of two kilometers.

In addition, another trench MHRT15 in the Eastern Zone has intersected 34m at 11.6% total graphitic carbon. This indicates extension of the mineralization to 500m north than previously known.

Kibaran has stated that these results have increased its expectations and confidence in the pending mineral resource estimate for the Epanko prospect, reported Proactive Investors.

The company has appointed CSA Global to undertake mineral resource estimates based on drilling, trenching and geological work. It expects the results in over next couple of months.

Meanwhile, drilling at the Epanko prospect had recently returned assays of 22.3m at 10.7%total graphitic carbon and 32m at 10.7% total graphitic carbon.
