A total of 46% of measured and indicated resource has now been upgraded to measured.
The mineral resource estimate includes 23.3 million tonnes grading 9.4% entire graphitic carbon for 2,194,600 tonnes of contained graphite.
The Epanko project is estimated to host about 635, 800t of contained graphite in the measured resource, 785,300 t in the indicated category and the remaining 773,500 t in the inferred category.
The mineral resource supports the earlier unveiled expanded production scenario which may include producing 100,000tpa of concentrate over 20 years without the need of additional exploration.
Kibaran said the mineral resource upgrade and re-classification is based on the increased confidence gained from metallurgical testwork results performed on seven diamond drill holes as part of the bankable feasibility study (BFS).
The company expects to receive the first draft of BFS from GR Engineering by the end of this month. It will be reviewed in July, before unveiling the detail of the study.
