The pipeline is currently in the permitting and right-of-way acquisition phase and is expected to be completed by this year.

Koch Pipeline president Kim Penner said with this large-diameter line in operation, Koch Pipeline will increase its system capability from Karnes County to the Corpus Christi-area to about 250,000 barrels per day.

Completion of the pipeline is timed with affiliate Flint Hills Resources updates to Ingleside terminal that will have the capacity to ship up to 200,000 barrels per day of production via barge to other Gulf Coast markets.

Koch Pipeline has made in terminals, lines and lease agreements with other companies which will have an increased transportation capability to more than 350,000 barrels per day into Corpus Christi and Ingleside.

The company is constructing a short line in the Ingleside area and expects to complete construction on a 16-inch line in the fourth quarter from Helen to Pettus, Texas.
