The Lake Long field, which is a South Louisiana legacy property, has been actively producing since 1935.

The acquisition increases the company’s acreage to 1,700 gross acres within the field, while it is operated by Krewe’s operating entity, S2 Energy Operating.

Krewe said that it continues to be focused on its growth and acquisition of mature legacy type assets within the South Louisiana oil and gas trend.

Krewe Energy has been formed by Houston and Texas-based Sage Road Capital together with Krewe Energy’s founders Tom De Brock and Barry Salsbury.
