The company has cased the exploratory well to total depth after encountering eight potential gas bearing reservoirs in the Middle and Lower Bashkirian portions of the well.
The well was drilled to a total depth of 2,800m and its production testing is expected to begin in late August/early September.
Kulczyk Oil drilled this well to further increase the gas production capability of the Olgovskoye Field.
According to the company, the well was drilled into a separate fault block which had not previously produced gas.
O-14 is the third new well drilled on the Olgovskoye license since Kulczyk Oil acquired its 70% interest in Ukrainian firm KUB-Gas in June last year.
