The land-based RadonEx survey identified a peak of 9.93 pCi/m2/sec while ground-prospecting and sampling program confirm the historic radioactive boulder field existence on the Gibbons Creek Property.

Results of the ground-prospecting and sampling program include eight boulders with assays greater that 1.0% U3O8, and a high of 4.28% U3O8.

Work also involved completion of approximately 38 line-kilometres of a DC-Resistivity survey.

Lakeland Resources president Jonathan Armes said that the report on results confirm the potential for a significant uranium discovery at property.

"Of particular interest are the extremely high ‘Radon’ values reported by RadonEx, which to our knowledge, are the highest ever reported for the Athabasca Basin area," Armes added.

Located adjacent to the Black Lake project which is jointly held by Uracan Resources and UEX, the Gibbons Creek property comprises five contiguous claims totaling 12,771h.
