L&T subsidiary Larsen & Toubro Saudi Arabia has received a contract worth INR5.97bn ($132.7m) from the Saudi Electricity Company to build 225km of 380kV transmission line project connected to Haramain high speed railway in Saudi Arabia.
The project is expected to be complete in 24 months.
Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC) has assigned a contract worth INR4.22 billion ($93.7m) to develop five medium voltage substations and associated 33kV cabling works for ADPC’s Khalifa Port & Industrial Zone project.
International Bechtel is acting as the project management consultant for this project, which is expected to take 18 months to complete.
Dubai Electricity & Water Authority has awarded L&T a contract worth INR750m ($16.8m) for the construction of 132kV cabling and associated works, to be complete in 11 months.
Under a INR18.5bn ($41m) contract from Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation, L&T will provide engineering, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 66 km of 220 kV underground cabling works.
In addition, L&T (Oman) a JV company of L&T in Muscat Oman has received a contract worth INR870m ($19.3m) to construct 3 MV substations including the associated 33 kV cabling works from Muscat Electricity Distribution Company, to be complete in nine months.
