With the addition of the 230V option for Europe and Asia, LuxPAR can now replace halogen and metal halide PAR lamps.
LedEngin claimed that PAR lamps feature its proprietary LEDs and optical designs that deliver high lux, light quality, color stability and longevity for energy reduction and cost savings as compared with halogen lamps.
LuxPAR products are available in multiple color temperatures and spot, narrow flood and flood beam distributions and in both 120V and 230V versions.
The LuxPAR 230V lamps are available for immediate sampling and will be available for volume shipments in June 2010.
LedEngin said that its LEDs are capable of emitting more that 2,000 lumens. Commercially available LED products range from 3W to 40W in white, direct colors, RGB, RGBA, RGBW, Far Red, Deep Red, Dental Blue and UV.
